Description & Requirements

Duties, Responsibilities & Authorities:

As an electrical engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Translate the product/code requirement to the engineer design specification. 
• Design of elevator system integration like key components (controller, drive) integration and new feature extension
• Demonstrate design with MASC (modeling/analysis/simulation/calculation)
• Develop and execute the test plan
• Verify/qualify the design
• Trouble shooting in the lab, hoistway or jobsite.  
• Documentation of engineering works according to Otis product development process (e.g.: requirement, drawings, test reports, user’s manuals etc) 
• Coordinate with other functions to ensure program success
• Perform other duties as assigned and requested•
