Basic Function / General Description: • As the electrical manager of the largest design center in OTIS, the primary responsibility of this position is to manage the electronic team on o Electronic development o Grow up the talent of the team members o Leading the electronic technical roadmap in elevator and escalator control system • Leading the team to achieve the company goal. Duties, Responsibilities & Authorities: As a senior electrical manager of the digital electronics team, the successful candidate will be responsible for: • Managing the digital electronics team with 10+ electronic engineers, including the control PCBA and communication modules. • Leading the electronic design solution by digesting the customer requirement and system requirement. • Provide technical leadership in electronics circuits design, review, verification, validation, trouble shooting and continuous improvements with systematic mindset. • Develop and maintain technology roadmap for electronics domain. • Make the decision decisively under uncertainty, take accountability for impactful outcomes and empower teams to build confidence and capability in judgment. • Solve the problem by analyzing long-term risks and trade-offs, drive standardized and effective solutions, and lead teams to resolve complex, cross-organizational challenges proactively. • Communicate effectively to influent the stakeholders and coordinate the across different functions. Develop team capability in confident and impactful communication • Accurately estimating the resource and program timelines, prioritizing critical tasks, managing interdependencies, adapting to changes with contingency plans, and leading teams to deliver objectives amid uncertainty and competing demands. Accountability & measures: • Job performance will be measured in accordance with the completion of product developments, product quality, product cost, customer satisfaction and talent developments Support others to achieve departmental objectives Work experience & skills requirements: • Experience: o Minimum 8 years of design/review experience on electronic development or equivalent from academia. Experience in elevator industry, EV, and automation industry is preferred. o Minimum 5 years of experience managing an R&D team. The manager’s experience in a global company is preferred. o Experience in PESSRAL or functional safety system/PCBA development, and well know the requirement of IEC61508, ISO26262 etc. … o Demonstrated ability in analog, digital, areas with solid experience from specification, development, verification and validation, until product release. Experience in power electronics is preferred. o Familiar with FMEA/DOE • Language: o Excellent English communication skills for speaking, reading and writing. • Computer Skills: o Microsoft office tool set • Other Key Competencies: o Sense of ownership and responsibility, result oriented o Well multi-task management. o Creative, open-minded, smart and energetic o Quick response/adjustment under the dynamic environment. o Logical thinking and proactive o Resilience that can work under stress. • Other Preferred Experiences: o Functional safety system certification experience is preferred Educational Requirements • Education: Master’s degree or above in electronics or power electronics or related field,
